There’s something magical about a white tie ball at Christmas! For the second year in a row I was invited to photograph the annual Washington Assembly Christmas Dance and debutante presentation at the Sulgrave Club in Washington, D.C.
The evening began for some attendees with a seated dinner, during which the guests wore colorful paper crowns, a British Christmas dinner tradition. Afterward, more guests arrived for the ball and greeted debutante Miss McClain Brooks. Some guests stopped by the Sulgrave Club’s beautiful Christmas tree for portraits.
Later in the evening, Miss Brooks was presented by Dr. Richard Meyer and also danced with her escort, Mr. Whit Nuckolls. Guests enjoyed dancing to timeless music by Sydney’s Band.
Congratulations to the Washington Assembly on another beautiful Christmas Dance!
