Five families joined me last weekend for Fall Mini Sessions at Vanish Farmwoods Brewery in Leesburg, Virginia. This was my first time hosting mini sessions, which are condensed 15 minute portrait sessions at a reduced price. I absolutely loved making these portraits and plan to host more seasonal mini sessions in the future! The morning light shone beautifully through the forest, and the 15 minute format was perfect for young families. It was wonderful to both reconnect with old friends and make new ones. I wore a mask and social distanced from the families to help keep everyone safe. We ended up making some of my favorite family portraits ever!

I’ve received multiple requests to host mini sessions in my hometown of Suffolk, in the Southeast region of Virginia, known as Hampton Roads or Tidewater. I’m thrilled to announce that I will be hosting mini sessions on November 15 at Windsor Castle Park in Smithfield, Virginia!
