David & Bethany were married at Shadow Creek, a beautiful venue with views of Loudoun County’s green rolling hills in Purcelville, Virginia. I photographed the day as a second photographer in support of Chelsea Schaefer Photography. The wedding was over Labor Day weekend, and the couple had planned a summery outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception. But one thing I’ve learned photographing weddings in Virginia is that our weather is very unpredictable! The day was unseasonably cold and a bit rainy, but Shadow Creek is a beautiful venue in rain or shine. The ceremony was move indoors to their barn-like venue and we still captured beautiful portraits outdoors. David & Bethany were great sports and their wedding was a joy to photograph.
