One of my dreams for humanity is that each of us, at some point our lives, will know what it’s like to have someone we love look adoringly at us the way that Joe looked at Bridget throughout their wedding day. Joe & Bridget were married in a touching Catholic ceremony at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. The priest, himself a widower, gave a tender blessing in which he said that marriage one of the greatest vehicles through which we can know and experience the grace of God in our lives. A lovely country club reception followed a few hours later at Springfield Golf & Country Club. The break of a few hours between the afternoon Catholic ceremony and evening reception allowed plenty of time for portraits and for the bride and groom to relax and enjoy each other. It was wonderful to be back in my old neighborhood; my husband and I lived in West Springfield through many years when we were dating, engaged, married, and started our family. We have very sweet memories of our years in West Springfield. It was a joy to photograph Joe & Bridget’s wedding as a second photographer for Emily Alyssa Photography. Congratulations, Joe & Bridget!
